A roof is the one thing on your house you can't afford to get wrong.

Most roofing calls in the valley start the same way: a stain on the ceiling, a few shingles in the yard after a windstorm, or a roof that's just old. We come out, get up there, and tell you what's actually going on.

No scare tactics, no upsell on a roof that has years left. If a repair will hold, we say so. If it's done, we show you the photos and explain why.

What we do up there.

From a single leak to a full tear-off and replacement, it's the same crew and the same standard on every roof in the valley.

1A full residential roof replacement in progress with fresh shingles

Roof Replacement

When a roof is past repair, we tear off the old layers, inspect the decking, fix what's soft, and install a full new system the right way. You get a written scope and a real timeline before we start.

Roof Repair

Not every roof needs replacing. We chase down leaks, replace lifted or missing shingles, reseal flashing, and swap out cracked vent boots. If a repair will hold, that's what we'll quote you.

Utah wind and hail can do real damage in one afternoon. We inspect it, document it with photos, and can walk you through the insurance claim so the conversation with your adjuster is a lot less of a headache.

4A roofer checking attic ventilation and the underside of a roof

Flashing & Ventilation

Most leaks don't start in the field of the roof, they start at the edges: chimneys, valleys, and pipe penetrations. We seal those right and make sure the roof can breathe so it lasts the years it should.

How it goes, start to finish.

01

You call or text

Tell us the address and what you're seeing. A leak, lost shingles, an old roof, or storm damage. We set a time to come look.

02

We get on the roof

We inspect it for real, take photos, and walk you through what we found. Then you get a written estimate, free, with no pressure to sign.

03

We do the work

The crew shows up when we say, protects your yard, and does the job right. Most homes are a one to two day project.

04

We clean up & check

We haul off the old material, run a magnet for stray nails, and do a final walkthrough so you know the roof is done right.

A roof is more than shingles.

What you see is the top layer. What keeps the water out is everything underneath it, installed in the right order. Here's what goes on a roof we build, bottom to top.

The Deck

Once the old roof is off, we inspect the wood decking underneath. Anything soft or rotted gets replaced. You can't build a good roof on a bad foundation, so this is where it starts.

Underlayment and ice-and-water shield being rolled out on a roofLayer 02

Underlayment & Ice Shield

A waterproof layer goes over the deck, with extra ice-and-water protection in the valleys and along the eaves. In a Utah winter, this is the layer that stops ice dams from finding their way inside.

Flashing installed around a roof penetration and valleyLayer 03

Flashing

Metal flashing seals every place the roof meets something else: chimneys, walls, valleys, and pipes. This is where most leaks really come from, so this is where the careful work pays off.

New shingles being nailed down in straight coursesLayer 04

Shingles

The shingles you actually see, nailed down in straight courses with the right number of fasteners. Done right, this is the layer that takes the sun, wind, and hail for the next couple of decades.

Ventilation & Ridge

Ridge vents and the ridge cap finish the roof and let the attic breathe. Good airflow keeps the deck dry and the shingles from cooking from underneath, which is what gets you the full life out of the roof.

Straight answers.

The questions homeowners actually ask before they put a roofer on the calendar.

Do you give free roof inspections and estimates?

Yes. We come out, get on the roof, take photos, and walk you through what we find. The inspection and the written estimate are free, with no pressure to sign anything that day.

What areas around West Valley City do you cover?

We work across the Salt Lake Valley: West Valley City, Taylorsville, Kearns, Magna, West Jordan, Murray, and into Salt Lake City. If you're nearby and not sure, just call and ask.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes in the valley are a one to two day job once the crew starts. Bigger or steeper roofs can run longer. We give you a real timeline up front, not a guess, and we keep you posted if weather moves it.

My roof is leaking. Can you come fix just the leak?

Yes. Not every roof needs replacing. We do repairs too: leaks, missing or lifted shingles, flashing, and vent boots. We'll tell you straight whether a repair will hold or whether you're throwing money at a roof that's done.

Do you handle storm and hail damage?

Yes. Utah gets real wind and hail. We inspect storm damage, document it with photos, and can walk you through the insurance claim so the conversation with your adjuster goes smoother.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we carry insurance and work to code on every job. Ask us when we come out and we'll show you our coverage before any work starts.

What does a new roof cost?

It depends on the size of the roof, the pitch, the material, and how many layers have to come off. That's why the inspection is free: we measure the actual roof and hand you a written number, not a phone quote. Ask about payment options when we come out.

What kind of roofs do you work on?

Mostly asphalt shingle, which is what most Salt Lake Valley homes have, plus repairs on flat and low-slope sections, metal accents, and the flashing and ventilation that make a roof actually last.

Do you clean up after the job?

Always. We tarp the yard, haul off the old material, and run a magnet over the lawn and driveway for stray nails before we leave. You shouldn't be finding our mess weeks later.
