Sewing again

Most tune-ups and common repairs turn around in a few days. We call you the minute it's ready to pick up.

What we do

Repair, tune-ups, parts, and machines.

A full sewing machine shop, not a counter that ships your machine off somewhere. The work happens here in Ogden.

Repairs and tune-ups

Skipped stitches, jamming, thread bunching underneath, broken needles, timing off, tension that won't hold. We clean, oil, adjust, and replace worn parts so the machine runs like it should.

Sergers & overlock

Sergers have their own headaches, threading, loopers, knives, and tension across four threads. We know them well and get them stitching clean again.

Vintage & antique

Old machines were built to last. A careful clean, oil, and adjustment usually brings grandma's machine right back to life. We handle them gently.

Machines for sale & trade-in

Looking to move up, or start out? We carry machines for sale and take trade-ins, so your old machine can go toward a different one. Come try a few on the table.

Parts, needles & feet

Needles, bobbins, belts, bulbs, and presser feet on hand, plus the harder-to-find parts ordered in for older machines.

Quilting & heavy fabric

Machines that fight you on denim, canvas, and quilt layers usually need the right needle, a tension reset, and a clean. We get them feeding smoothly.

Honest advice

Sometimes the answer is a simple fix, sometimes it's not worth repairing. Either way we'll tell you straight, so you can make a good call.

Inside the shop

Real benches, real tools, real repairs.

Hover any tile to bring it forward. This is the work that keeps a machine running for another twenty years.

A real sewing machine shop with people who actually know how to fix one. They told me what was wrong and what it would cost before doing the work.

Brought in an old machine I thought was done for. They cleaned it up, fixed the timing, and it runs better than I ever remember. These reviews are why we keep our rating where it is, and we work to earn each one.

Good questions

Before you bring it in.

Do you work on every brand?
Yes. We service every major brand of home and heavy-duty sewing machine and serger, old and new, mechanical and computerized. Bring it in and we'll tell you what it needs.
How much does a tune-up cost?
A standard clean, oil, and adjustment is a flat shop rate, and we always give you a quote before any extra parts or repair work. You approve the price before we start.
How long does a repair take?
Most tune-ups and common repairs turn around in a few days. If your machine needs a part ordered, we'll tell you up front and call you the moment it's ready.
My machine is jamming or skipping stitches. Can you fix it?
Almost always. Skipped stitches, jamming, bunched thread underneath, broken needles, and tension problems are everyday work for us. Most are a cleaning, a timing adjustment, or a worn part.
Do you sell machines too?
We do. We carry machines for sale and we take trade-ins, so you can move up to a different machine and put your old one toward it. Stop in and try a few.
Can you service my grandmother's old machine?
That's some of our favorite work. Vintage and antique machines were built to last, and a good clean and oil often brings one right back to life. We treat them with care.
Do I need an appointment?
Just bring it in. Carry in the machine and the foot pedal during shop hours and we'll take a look and let you know what's going on.
Do you sell parts, needles, and bobbins?
Yes. We keep needles, bobbins, belts, presser feet, bulbs, and the common parts on hand, and we can order the harder-to-find pieces for older machines.
