What we take care of.

From a single dead tree by the fence to clearing a whole back lot. If it grows, leans or needs to come down, we handle it.

Sectional tree removal in progress near a house in Davis County

Tree removal

Full takedowns, including the tight ones near a roof, fence, shed or power line. We rope and lower the wood in sections instead of dropping it, so nothing lands where it shouldn't. Hazardous, dead or leaning trees are our bread and butter.

Sectional riggingTight accessHauled off

Trimming & pruning

Crown thinning, raising, deadwood removal and shaping. Keeps your tree healthy and weak limbs off the house.

Stump grinding

We grind the stump below grade so you can plant grass or backfill, then clean up the grindings. Add-on or standalone.

Storm & emergency cleanup

After wind or heavy snow, a split limb or a tree on a roof can't wait. Call or text and we get to the unsafe ones first, then clear the rest.

Lot & brush clearing

Overgrown back lots, fence lines and building sites cleared down and hauled away. Good for a property you're getting ready to sell, build on or just take back.

We take all the wood and branches with us and leave the yard clean. Want the wood cut to firewood length and left for you instead? Just say so.

How it works

Four steps from "that tree's gotta go" to a clean yard. No salesman, no surprises on the bill.

1

Send a photo

Text a picture of the tree and where it sits. We can usually give you a ballpark right then.

2

We confirm on site

We come look in person, talk through access and the plan, and lock in a firm price before any work.

3

We do the work

Roped, rigged and lowered safely. We protect the lawn, the fence and whatever's underneath.

4

We clean up

Wood and brush hauled off, drive and walks blown clean. You're left with a tidy yard, not a pile.

Why neighbors call us

The reason we sit at 5.0 stars is simple. We show up when we say, we don't wreck the yard getting the tree out, and we leave it cleaner than we found it.

Honest quote, showed up on time, and you'd never know a tree had been there. That's the bar we hold every job to.

No call center, no rotating crew. You talk to the person doing the work, and that's a big part of why the reviews read the way they do.

About us

A local crew that treats your yard like ours.

Tuttle Tree Removal is owner-run out of West Point. When you call, you talk to the person who's going to be up in the tree, not a salesperson reading a script. That's why the quotes are straight and the work matches what we promised.

Tree work near a house is no place to cut corners, so we carry insurance, rig the big stuff down safely, and clean up like we were never there. We work all over Davis County.

Questions, answered. If yours isn't here, just call or text. We'd rather you ask than guess.

Do you give free quotes?
Yes. Quotes are free. Call or text a few photos of the tree to (801) 678-6792 and we can usually give you a ballpark right away, then come out to confirm before any work starts.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in West Point and work across Davis County: Clinton, Syracuse, Clearfield, Layton, Kaysville, Roy and the towns around them. If you're nearby and not sure, just ask.
Are you insured?
Yes, we carry liability insurance and can send proof before we start. Tree work near a house, fence or power line is not the place to cut corners, so insurance is non-negotiable on every job.
Can you take down a tree close to my house?
Yes. Tight removals near a roof, fence, shed or power line are most of what we do. We rope and lower the wood down in sections instead of just felling it, so nothing lands where it shouldn't.
Do you grind the stump too?
We can. Stump grinding is a separate add-on to a removal or a standalone job. We grind below grade so you can plant grass or backfill, and we clean up the grindings.
What happens to the wood and branches?
We haul it all off and leave the yard clean. If you'd rather we cut the wood to firewood length and leave it for you, just say so. Either way you're not stuck with a pile.
Can you come out after a storm?
Yes. After a wind or snow event we get a lot of calls about split limbs and trees on roofs or fences. Call or text and we'll get to the unsafe ones first.
How soon can you get to my tree?
It depends on the week, but we answer fast and most non-emergency jobs get scheduled within a few days. If a limb is hanging over something it could damage, tell us and we'll move it up.
Will you make a mess of my yard?
No. Cleanup is part of the job, not an extra. We rake up, blow off the drive and walks, and leave the area looking better than a yard with a dead tree in it.
Do you trim trees, or only remove them?
Both. We do crown thinning, raising, deadwood removal and shaping, not just full takedowns. Good trimming keeps a tree healthy and keeps weak limbs off your house.

Let's get that tree handled.

Tell us what you're dealing with, a dead tree by the fence, a limb over the roof, a whole lot to clear, and we'll get you a free quote fast.
